Emergence: A New View of Life's Origin is a traveling exhibit designed by New Mexico Highlands University graduates Lauren Addario and Kara Pajewski. It is the educational outreach component of a grant to The Santa Fe Institute from the National Science Foundation. Emergence has been shown in Las Vegas, NM, Santa Fe New Mexico, Los Alamos, NM, and the National Science Foundation atrium in Arlington, Virginia.
Between Fences was completed as part of an exhibition design class offered in spring of 2006. It was the regional component of Smithsonian's traveling exhibit, Between Fences. As part of this class, Kara Pajewski and Lauren Addario created an interactive map showing changing boundaries of land ownership throughout New Mexico's history.
